Introduction
I am an Assistant Professor at Azad University with more than 14 years of professional experience in control, decision making, optimization, and modeling of smart energy systems. During this period, I work in different research styles such as independently, as a leader for a research group and participating as a member of research tasks. My major research activities mainly cover the smart power systems and electricity market modeling, planning, operations, and decision making.

As we know, we have very strong analytical approaches to control theory. Any dynamic decision-making process that its variables change in time could be characterized by state-space and/or state-action representations. However, we see very few control viewpoints for solving electricity market problems. I would like to invite you to share your thoughts about the opportunities, and limitations of such a viewpoint.

We have a stochastic dynamic model: Xk+1 =f(Xk,uk,wk ). We can design a cost function to be optimized using dynamic programming algorithm. How do we design a cost function for this dynamic system to ensure stability?
In Chapter 4 of Ref. [a] for a quadratic cost function and a linear system (Xk+1 =AXk+Buk+wk), a proposition shows that under a few assumptions, the quadratic cost function results in a stable fixed state feedback. However, I think about how we can consider stability issue in the designation of the cost function as a whole when we are going to define the optimal control problem for a nonlinear system generally. Can we use the meaning of stability to design the cost function? Please share me your ideas.

Dear colleagues
We have developed a technique for revealing electricity market behavior. We need as much as practical data to show the effectiveness of our proposed technique. In this regards, we need data from an electricity market in which congestion is negligible, since our proposed approach does not consider congestion in this stage.
It is intended to apply the proposed technique from the prospective of an electricity market. Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

* a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.
"Darwin's theory of evolution"
* a set of principles on which the practice of an activity is based.

* an idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action.
"my theory would be that the place has been seriously mismanaged"
Control is proven to be applicable in several applications. Hence, according to these definitions, why can/do we still call control a theory?
