Introduction
Hello, I am Mohammad Odeh, a researcher at the University of Central Florida.
My area of expertise and research focuses on the modeling, simulation, and control of dynamic energy systems, with an emphasis on Floating Offshore Wind Turbines.
Given my experience, I support professionals in their research, data analysis, and informed decision-making by bringing a comprehensive engineering analysis dimension to their projects, regardless of the sector, core business, or size of their company.

This article presents the development of the Control‐oriented, Reconfigurable, and Acausal Floating Turbine Simulator (CRAFTS). CRAFTS has a modular, hierarchical model architecture that enables rapid and accurate simulation of wind turbines. The architecture facilitates the incorporation of model variants, and its system reconfiguration features h...
This article presents the development of the Control-oriented, Reconfigurable, and Acausal Floating Turbine Simulator (CRAFTS). CRAFTS is a library-based, modular, hierarchical model architecture that enables rapid and accurate simulation of wind turbines. The architecture of CRAFTS facilitates the incorporation of model-based system reconfiguratio...
To enable the fast growth of the floating offshore wind industry, simulation models must be validated with experimental data. Floating wind model-scale experiments in wind–wave facilities have been performed over the last two decades with varying levels of fidelity and limitations. However, the turbine controls in these experiments have considered...
This paper discusses the design and application of magnetic-based position tracking in surgical trainers. The utilization of magnetic-based position tracking in Laparoscopic Trainers provides a cost-effective solution to the next generation of medical education, training and evaluation. The utilization of 3D printed parts as well as off the shelf e...
Background:
Medical 3D printing has brought the manufacturing world closer to the patient's bedside than ever before. This requires hospitals and their personnel to update their quality assurance program to more appropriately accommodate the 3D printing fabrication process and the challenges that come along with it.
Results:
In this paper, we ex...
The adoption of robotically assisted surgeries is increasing at a dramatic rate. The Da Vinci “was used in 80% of radical prostatectomies performed in the U.S. for 2008, just nine years after the system went on the market” [8]. The Da Vinci is but one of the systems driving the development of more versatile, more cost-effective and more autonomous...
