I have yearly data from 1984 to 2016. I want apply variance decomposition method for uncertainty shock measurement. For variance decomposition, at least 60 observations are helpful for reliable result. Is there any literature/reference for converting yearly data to quarterly for VAR model? Please provide me some valuable suggestions.
