An adequate usage of energy on nodes with restricted energy source is one of the major challenges in WSNs. Since data transmission is the main task that shortens node’s lifetime, it is very necessary to balance the transmission of data among the network paths. Cluster-based architecture in WSNs is one of the keys to improve energy efficiency and ex...

WSNs are composed of limited-power sensors. Replacing or recharging sensors, especially when deployed in places where human intervention is risky, is an important challenge. Therefore, and since communication is the major energy consuming operation [1], ensuring an energy efficient usage is a major concern. Clustering is one of the techniques used...

Question
What is the effect of both on the wsn
1-more alive nodes with low energy level
2-less alive nodes with high energy level
Can you provide with resources ?
Thank you all.
Question
Iam using to calculate the cost of a node to be a cluster head using fuzzy logic .
But what is the difference between taking the same input parameters to the fuzzy system and calculating the cost using an equation that takes the same inputs ?
Question
In wsn every node have a weight to be CH
What is the difference between evaluating this weight using a static equation or function that takes input parameters and multiply it by its weight and by using fuzzy logic system ?
Where is the preciseness and impficiseness ?
Thank you all
Question
is it more efficient to place the BS in the center of the network or outside it ?
can anybody guide me articles regarding this ?
Question
Iam working on data prediction in. Wsn
I have to compare my results with other works in this major
One of the algorithms i want to compare with is arma
Question
Any relation between rssi with distance to nodes and remaining energy
Question
Iam working on simulating a wsn protocol that select the CH based on fuzzy logic in ns2
I need to know how to select the CH in ns2 .
Thank you all
