Introduction
Prof. Mohamed Shiffa, present Head of the Unani Section, IIM, University of Colombo, Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka is a Unani physician, academic, ilaj bit tadbir specialist and rheumatology specialist. He has started the medical carrier by BUMS, completed Doctor of Medicine (MD)’ in Unani Moalejat, LLB at Open University of Sri Lanka, and enrolled as Attorney at Law in the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Further, he is reading for PhD in Unani Moalejat in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi
