Introduction
Mohamed Benbouzid is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Brest (France). He is also a Distinguished Professor at the Shanghai Maritime University (China). His main research interests include analysis, design, fault detection/diagnosis, and control of electric machines, variable-speed drives for traction, propulsion, and renewable energy applications. Prof. Benbouzid is the Editor-in-Chief of the IRECON Journal and an Associate Editor of the IEEE TEC and TVT. He is also a Subject Editor of the IET RPG.
