Conference Paper
The objective of this study is to test the elimination of copper in synthetic solutions by using lime (Ca(OH)2), caustic soda (NaOH) and sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) individually. For each reagent used, an improvement in copper removal efficiency ([Cu2+] 0 = 100 mg/l) was observed with the increase of the reagent dose (5 to 800 mg/l) which can reach...

The objective of this study is to examine the reactivity of the humic type organic material in the presence of chlorine as sodium hypochlorite. Humic substances are dissolved in water from different origins (distilled water, drilling Sidi Khellil and Ain Dalia Dam). The effect of ammonia is especially considered in these reactions. The experimental...

Conference Paper
The objectif of this study is testing the elimination of deferent metals (copper, cadmium and zinc) in synthetic solutions by using lime (Ca (OH) 2) and soda (NaOH) individually. For each reagent used, an improvement in the removal efficiency of each metal ([M2 +] 0 = 100 mg/L) was observed with the increase in the dose of the reagent (10 to 1000 m...

Chemical precipitation using lime (Ca(OH)2), caustic soda (NaOH) and soda ash (Na2CO3) for the removal of simultaneous heavy metals (Cu(II) and Zn(II)) from industrial wastewater of the cable industry was carried out in laboratory by jar tests. For each reagent used, an improvement in copper and zinc removal efficiency was obtained by increasing th...

Raw bentonite (RB) locally available in Mostaganem (Algeria) deposit has been treated in the presence of NaOH (B-NaOH), MgCl 2 (B-MgCl 2) and H 2 SO 4 (B-H 2 SO 4) to improve its adsorption ability for the removal of copper ions from aqueous solutions. Characterization of all adsorbents supported montmorillonite, illite and kaolinite as major clay...

Question
There are different standards for each factory and for each country for the heavy metals concentration ,but i want to know which one is useful especially in publication case.
Question
i want to reduce the final pH of the solution after the removal of heavy metals by chemical precipitation, provided this increase have not any other inconvenience in the effeciency or solibility of precipitate .
Question
i mad a combinaition between this three metals (Cu, Cd, Zn) in ordre te remove it's from syntitical solution by chemical precipitaion , and i want to know the reactions between this metals in an alkaline medium.
Question
I used befor lime (Ca(OH)2), caustic soda (NaOH) and sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) individually , and i need other reactif to make a comparison study to know the best reactif between them .
