Introduction
Oncological Bioinformatics and Clinical Translation, including cancer biomarker identification with corroborative semantic knowledge (knowledge graph) and omics data analysis in the context of clinical data, insights into molecular immunotherapy and disease-related pan-gut microbiota or probiotics, as well as the deep glance into the relationship between tumor genes, expression variations, molecular typing, molecular mechanisms, function networks, the tumorigenesis and cancer developments.

Background
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a common gastrointestinal tumor with high morbidity and mortality. At the molecular level, patients at different stages present considerable heterogeneity. Although the miRNA in exosome is an effective biomarker to reveal tumor progression, studies based on stage-associated exosome miRNA regulatory network anal...
Background
Melanoma is a highly aggressive skin cancer with a poor prognosis and mortality. Immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy (e.g., anti-PD-1 therapy) has opened a new horizon in melanoma treatment, but some patients present a non-responsive state. Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) make up the majority of stromal cells in the tumor micro...
Melanoma is the most malignant form of skin cancer, which seriously threatens human life and health. Anti-PD-1 immunotherapy has shown clinical benefits in improving patients’ overall survival, but some melanoma patients failed to respond. Effective therapeutic biomarkers are vital to evaluate and optimize benefits from anti-PD-1 treatment. Althoug...
Asthma is a common chronic airway disease worldwide. Due to its clinical and genetic heterogeneity, the cellular and molecular processes in asthma are highly complex and relatively unknown. To discover novel biomarkers and the molecular mechanisms underlying asthma, several studies have been conducted by focusing on gene expression patterns in epit...
Tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) has been used to improve genome annotation in various organisms. The classical approach is to construct comprehensive theoretical peptide database with six frame translation model from the whole open reading frame (ORF) of a genome, and search against this database with real MS/MS spectra. In this work we took a mor...
Grain weight is a major determinant of rice grain yield and is widely believed to be controlled by quantitative trait loci (QTL). We have previously reported a new major gene, Mi3, regulating grain length in rice, and that the Mi3 allele from Y34 functioned in a dominant manner. In this paper we report the fine mapping and candidate analysis of Mi3...
Grain size, determined chiefly by grain length, is one of the main factors affecting the grain yield in rice production. To study the trait of rice grain size, F1 and F2 populations were developed from crosses Shuhui 881/Y34 and Shuhui 527/Y34, and genetic analysis for minute grain was performed. The F1 populations showed minute grains, and grain s...
