Milton Borsato holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Parana (1989) in Brazil, Master's degree in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Muroran Kogyo Daigaku (1993) in Japan, PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2003) in Brazil, PhD in Advanced Productions Systems Engineering from Muroran Kogyo Daigaku (2016) in Japan and post-doctorate in Production Engineering with emphasis in Integrated Systems for Manufacturing at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (2010, 2013) in the USA, as a Fulbright and CAPES scholar.
