One of the main challenges in Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) design and implementation lies in the degree of autonomy that the system is capable to provide, that is, the user should be able to decide when to interact with the system and how often. This project attempts to explore whether a mental task such as imagined singing fits properly for its use as a "brain switch" (on/off protocol) for a self-paced BCI.
