Introduction
Mieke Van Mulders has a background in Biomedical Sciences and started her career as a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2017, she is fully dedicated to the RE-Place project which is focused on increasing knowledge sharing on alternative methods to animal testing, also known as 'New Approach Methodologies' (NAMs). Mieke is also involved in the PARERE network, BelTox, and the Flemish and Brussels animal testing committees in Belgium.
