Introduction
Michiel Lippens is currently employed at the research group EduBROn (Educational sciences) of the University of Antwerp (UA) where he is currently trying to obtain his PhD degree.
In the past he worked as a scientific researcher at the Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies (CeMIS) (UA). Past research was conducted in the context of three European projects, which included research about international migration patterns and themes related to psychological, social and cultural integration of individuals with an immigrant background in the 'new host society'.
He obtained master degrees in Social Work (UGent, 2014) and Criminological Sciences (KULeuven, 2016).

Report on interethnic conflicts in classroom context within secondary education. The report is part of a deliverable for the Erasmus+ project 'Attain Cultural integration through COnflict Resolution skill Development'. The results are based on ethnographic observations in secondary schools and focus group discussions with teachers.
Methodological forum which reflects on the use of qualitative data collection methods/ethnographic research to research different types of ethnic discrimination (e.g., from explicit to more subtle types).
