Objectif : Bâtir une plateforme d’aide à la décision en architecture scolaire visant à optimiser le potentiel des ressources existantes. Pour ce faire, les chercheurs de Schola développeront des outils d’accompagnement du processus de rénovation des écoles du Québec. L’approche Schola est véritablement transdisciplinaire. Elle croise non seulement les disciplines de l’architecture, du design et de l’éducation, mais embrasse aussi plus largement les préoccupations éthiques et esthétiques des divers acteurs du milieu scolaire. Grâce à leur collaboration, l'équipe de Schola met en pratique une approche participative. Les outils qui seront réalisés avec leur soutien visent ultimement à guider les décisions pour développer des cadres de vie fonctionnels, confortables, agréables et durables. Aim and objectives: Creating a supportive platform for decision-making in school architecture, planning to optimize existing resources. To do so, Schola researchers will develop guiding tools for the school renovations process in the province of Quebec. Schola is using a transdisciplinary approach, combining various disciplines such as architecture, design and education. The project also addresses ethical and esthetical aspects of actual school community preoccupations. With the collaboration of the school community, and within a participative approach, Schola will develop guiding tools which will help in creating functional, comfortable, pleasant and substainable learning and living environments.
