Introduction
Michael Ziehl is an Urbanist and Urban Researcher with deep expertise in multi-stakeholder collaboration and community-based projects. Besides his doctoral degree in Philosophy he holds a Master of Science in the field of Urban Planning and is a graduate engineer in the field of Architecture. From Hamburg, Germany he is running Urban Upcycling – Agency for Urban Resources and within the City Science Lab at HafenCity Unitersity he is lead scientist of the transformative research design.
