With the advent of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) technologies, the networking infrastructures are becoming increasingly agile in their attempts to offer the quality of services needed by the users, maximizing the efficiency of infrastructure utilization. This in essence mandates the statistical multiple...
Capabilities of the blockchain technology are beginning to be explored, beyond their use in cryptocurrencies. Recently large companies , like IBM and Walmart, are collaborating on creating blockchain solutions that will be implemented on various use cases of Supply Chain Management, to increase the system's credibility and ease the tracking of the...
This article explores the business benefits and technical challenges of blockchain technology implementation in the human resources (HR) domain, specifically in a recruitment space. Recruitment is one of the most critical parts of HR management, one in which there must be an establishment of trust at the beginning of interactions between parties. T...
Crowdsourcing has been pursued as a way to leverage the power of the crowd for many different purposes in diverse sectors from collecting information, aggregating funds, and gathering employees to perform tasks of different sizes among other targets. Data integrity and nonrepudiation are of utmost importance in these systems and are currently not g...
Climatic changes and intensive industrialization have contributed to increasing the risk of damage of cultural heritage (CH) artefacts. On the other hand, small and medium-sized museums, as well as small CH sites struggle to fulfil international recommendations for protection and conservation, due to budget limitations. The constantly increasing po...
To satisfy the demand for collective and collaborative cloud use, academia and industry want to interconnect heterogeneous clouds to form a federated system. This approach is promising but also faces significant challenges.

Examine the use of DLT technology for secure resource management in Next Generation Networks(NGNs). The main targets of the current research is to examine the feasibility of applying DLT in NGNs as well as to find out the most suitable platform for this use case. The resource management process will be conducted by Smart Contracts deployed in the DLT network.
