Introduction
I am PhD candidate in the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering of University of West Attica in Greece. My current research is focused on the Next Generation Networks and more specific on the secure network resource management. Mostly i examine the 5G area focusing on the adoption of network virtualization technology and how the secure management of VNFs and other components can be guaranteed in a competitive multi-vendor environment,.

Examine the use of DLT technology for secure resource management in Next Generation Networks(NGNs). The main targets of the current research is to examine the feasibility of applying DLT in NGNs as well as to find out the most suitable platform for this use case. The resource management process will be conducted by Smart Contracts deployed in the DLT network.
