Introduction
Prof. Dr. Michael Bhatty is a professor for Game Design at the Mediadesign University (MD.H) of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, Germany. In 2010 he became a professor at the MHMK, Munich, transfering to the MD.H in late 2013,
He was a lead game designer (e.g. Sacred, 2004) and chief executive producer (e.g. Moorhuhn - Piraten) in der German Games industry. As game design consultant and author he wrote the officla novels for FarCry 1 % 2, as well as a trilogy for Runes of Magic.
His research focus lies on interactive story telling, narrative design, conept art and game directing - the role of the game designer as the leading and decision making director, author and producer.
He has been a speaker on conferences like the GermanDevDays, Respwan, Gamescom and at the Bundeswehr (Military).
