Project
The project's goal is to support the operations of UPLB CMDL by allowing online submission of test requests by Health Care Facilities (HCFs) and Disease Reporting Units (DRUs). The primary inputs include Case Investigation Forms (CIFs) of patients, and Line List (LL) of specimens to the system, while the primary outputs include specimen inspection results upon receipt, and test results. The project is under UPLB-OVCRE & CMDL, and being developed in partnership with two (2) UPLB ICS faculty members, and a developer from a private institution.

Develop a Laboratory Information Management System for data management of specimens for COVID-19 testing. Claris FileMaker (https://www.claris.com/) is the platform used. The primary team leading the development is from Armont Business Solutions (ABS).
Project
The project is under a larger social developmental initiative called Digitized Open Innovation Network for Inclusive Growth (DOING) which envisions an active open innovation ecosystem in the Philippines that will give opportunities to the disadvantaged and disconnected stakeholders in the agro-industrial sector. The DOING project aims to achieve inclusive growth by building an expanded R&D network for connecting partners who can fulfill important roles on funding, knowledge generation, and commercialization. This [sub]project will focus on the basic research to generate in-depth knowledge and determine the technical specifications and information systems framework of a collaborative technology platform that will support the open innovation activities of R&D actors (particularly for optimized partner matching).
