Question
I am examining the immunosuppressive activities of several medicinal plants on pristane-induced lupus. The result of the cytokine levels and urine protein are promising, but the histopathological analysis still show some damages on the organs. Is it possible that the improvement of the organ function (showed by the level of urine protein and cytokines) happens earlier/improve first than the repair of anatomical damage?
I have tried to find a suitable reference but have not found one.
Thank you.
