The COVID-19 pandemic has led to unprecedented changes in teaching and learning physics at European universities. A team of physics education researchers from the Universities of Dresden, Göttingen, Kaiserslautern and Zagreb has been monitoring studying physics during the COVID-19 pandemic since May 2020. We are conducting interviews and surveys, and applying standard instruments such as the Force Concept Inventory, to determine the effect of changes caused by COVID-19 pandemic on different aspects of studying physics.
Our collaboration includes Marie-Annette Geyer, Lana Ivanjek (University of Dresden), Merten Dahlkemper, Pascal Klein (University of Göttingen), Stefan Küchemann (University of Kaiserslautern), Katarina Jelicic, Ana Susac (University of Zagreb).
