Introduction
My background is in business management research, focusing on small firms and performance improvement. I became interested in GP Practices as small firms and investigated service quality in General Practice and its impact on patient experience, developing a set of dimensions of service quality from existing datasets. I am now focusing on the operational processes used for allocating patients to new clinical roles in general practice and their impact on staff, patients and practice efficiency.
