Introduction
Dr. Mehmet Sari works as Professor of the Mining Engineering Department at Aksaray University, Turkey. He obtained his B.Sc. from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey in 1993. He obtained his M.Sc. from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA in 1997. He completed his Ph.D. at METU in 2002. Dr. Sari's current research interests are risk analysis studies in mines, Monte Carlo simulation, rock mechanics, drilling and blasting, slope stability, fuzzy logic, and rockfall analysis.
