Pedestrian road safety needs urgent attention as there is a growing share of vulnerable road users in traffic crashes. Significant factors that lead to vehicular crashes may include vehicle speed, road design, and driver behavior. In India however, 14% of the total road fatalities in 2017 involved pedestrians, and research is scarce in this domain....

Dust generation due to movement of heavy trucks on transport and haul roads is one of the major sources of air pollution in open cast coal mining areas. Dust particles generated by mining operations degrade air quality which causes serious health problems. Talcher is heavily polluted due to heavy truck movement, industrial activity and extensive mi...

Study of Ambient Air Quality on Transport Road of Coal Mines – A Case of Talcher Mining Region
Conference Paper
Pedestrians have always been an essential part of the urban fabric and an integral part of the transport system. After being overlooked during most part of the motorized era, this mode of transport has regained some of its lost importance in the last decade, when an understanding has developed among users about its environmental and health benefits...

Often during the study of Swastika's roots, it may be observed that a sequence of events or linkages have indiscriminately occurred around a wide range of timeline as well as across several civilizations, often involving geographic diversification too. Probably these coincidental events are manifestations of an enigmatic thread, which is: scientifi...
