Cancer is a serious health concern that affects millions of people worldwide. Early detection and treatment are essential for improving patient outcomes. However, current methods for cancer detection have limitations, such as low sensitivity and specificity. The aim of this study was to develop an optical sensor for cancer detection using elastic l...
The test of visual evoked potential (VEP) is one of the important tests which helps in the diagnosis of many diseases especially the disease which affect the eye and the nervous system. This study concerned with the effect of check size on VEP parameters, (the latency and the amplitude).
VEPs were recorded from 31 normal subjects, who haven’t any...
Background Spleen is a hemopoietic organ which is capable of supporting elements of different systems.
The test of visual evoked potential (VEP) is one of the important tests which helps in the diagnosis of many diseases especially the diseases which affect the eye and the nervous system. This study concerned with the effect of spatial frequency of the stimulus on VEP parameters (the latency and the amplitude).
VEPs were recorded from 31 normal sub...
Background: Echocardiography is a very important diagnostic modality in the clinical practice of cardiology. Although it has been extensively used as a diagnostic tool. Echocardiography has recently emerged as a sensitive, non invasive technique for evaluating left ventricular mass(LVM) and detecting left ventricular hypertrophy. Objective: to dete...
Background: Pulmonary function test depends on a number of physiological factors as height, age, gender and race. Reference mathematical equations are used to determine a normal range of spirometric results which in turn are used clinically to determine whether the results measured in any individual fall within a range to be expected in a healthy p...

Hi there,
I am trying to use a plot digitizer software to extract my data, however I've found there is something wrong with the data that I have collected. The value of the X-axis is e8 in the beginning of the first line of the original image, but in my extract data is e10, which is not right. Please, find the attached files to let me know where is my mistake. In the x- axis, I put 1e8 1e11, y Axis, 20 -90. Is there something wrong because the exponential???? Please, I would very grateful to help ASAP. I have attached the original image+ the Excel output. I've used the origin and I have found the same. So, I think there is an issue in the x- axis scale . please have a look and let me know.
Many thanks in advance,
May
Can someone help me to understand the Debye and Cole- Cole model for measuring the permittivity for pure water?
Hi,
I am doing some experiments at the moment with polystyrene suspension with concentration 0.25%. I have taken an amount for the sample to do the experiment. At the beginning, it was fluid like the original sample but after hours I have found it is like a jelly. I have checked the original sample it was fine. So, what do you think the reason for this and how can I fix this issue?? I would be grateful if you could help please ASAP. Thank in advance.
Hi all,
I would like to design an optical probe for tumour detection. I read one sentence in paper" the optical properties of a tissue is the first step toward properly designing devices". So, could someone helps me to clarify this for me and or send me a good reference please. Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
May
