Introduction
I'm currently working as a PhD Researcher at the Centre of Diversity and Learning (Linguistics Department of the Faculty of Arts and Philosphy at the University of Ghent), where I investigate the dynamics of language policy in secondary schools. During my ethnographical research, I observe two classes in two secondary schools. During these observations, I work on the implementation of Functional Multilingual Learning. The goal is to use the student's home languages to enhance their learning.
