Introduction
Maureen Ebben, Ph.D. (University of Illinois). An award-winning educator, her work focuses on technology, pedagogy, information security, media, and gender. With Cheris Kramarae, she is co-editor of Women, Information Technology, and Scholarship, published by the Center for Advanced Study at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research has been published in volumes including Maintaining Social Well-Being and Meaningful Work in a Highly Automated Job Market, Teaching, Learning, and the Net Generation: Concepts and Tools for Reaching Digital Learners and Coding Pedagogy as well as in journals including Learning, Media and Technology, Women’s Studies in Communication, UCLA Law Review, and Women and Language.
