Introduction
My research is on the media, arts and cultural industries with a focus on gender, cultural policy and the impact of digital platforms. I have written about visual art, music, podcasting, fashion, film and fandom from this perspective. I am also interested in independent, diy, radical or feminist creative scenes and consumer cultures.
