Introduction
We work on fungal phylogeny, evolution, and taxonomy, where many studied groups are lichens or lichenicolous. Recently, we have also studied aspects of lichenization as a fungal lifestyle. I did a PhD 1994 at Uppsala University, a postdoc in Graz 1995, a researcher post at The Natural History Museum, London 1996-1999, lecturer at Umeå University 2000-2006 which from 2002 was funded by the Swedish Research Council as a “Senior Researcher”, a post that I in 2006 moved to my current working place.
