Introduction
As a postdoctoral researcher, I'm interested in data analysis. During my professional experience, I used several statistical methods (e.g., fixed and mixed-effect linear regression, survival analysis, and several machine learning algorithms such as decision trees and random forests). We compare different methods for probabilistic expert elicitation in several case studies dealing with agricultural issues (crop yield forecasts, estimation of dates of disease symptom appearance, yield loss in organic systems etc.). A new software facilitating expert elicitation was developed and tested.
