Introduction
I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Research on Discretion and Paternalism and the University of Bergen. I am writing my dissertation in association with the project Legitimacy Challenges (https://discretion.uib.no/projects/legitimacy-challenges/). The project studies legitimacy challenges for child protection services and children's rights, and we focus on Norway, Finland, UK, Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania.
