The journal Heritage (ISSN 2571-9408) is currently running a Special Issue entitled "Image-Based Modeling for 3D Metric Representation of Cultural Heritage Environment". Image-Based Modeling (IBM) for the digital representation of Cultural Heritage (CH) is becoming more and more widespread. This Special Issue aims at showcasing the latest advances, trends and best practices of the IBM in order to produce 3D Point Clouds or 3D textured models in a Cultural Heritage environment, taking into account even of the recent technological developments of terrestrial, aerial and satellite platforms.
