Introduction
Masaaki Ii is currently working on adipose-derived stem cell (AdSC)-related basic research, specifically, focusing on the stem cell function of bio-drug delivery system (DDS) with nanoparticles composed of biodegradable-polymer (PLGA). Any hydrophobic compound can be conjugated in PLGA and generated in nanoparticles (NPs) which can be easily loaded on AdSCs. Therefore, The NP-loaded AdSCs will be able to act as DDS in a living body especially baring tumor or inflammation.
