Introduction
My PhD work is to compare the composition and function of the large intestine microbiota between senior and adult horses. I am also trying to investigate possible links between age-related modification in the large intestine microbiota and the state of inflammation frequently observed in the senior individuals. The aim is to be able to provide nutritional recommendations to promote well-aging.
