Introduction
Martine Bakker researches the role of tourism in an inclusive growth strategy. From 2005 until 2013 she was an adjunct assistant professor at the Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism at New York University. Her research interests and practices focus primarily on issues associated with tourism and development. She is also a senior tourism consultant working with international development organizations and NGOs.
