Obtain information about all suicides in Norway who have been in contact with specialist mental health services in the 12 months preceding their death. Acquire systematic data about the deceased patients, the treatment they received and details regarding the suicide. Identify possible areas for improvement at the system level and develop more effective prevention strategies.
The aim of the Project was to adapt the Brief Behavioral Activation Treatment for Depression model into Norwegian acute psychiatric ward, and evaluate the models feasibility through a systematic replication of Hopko and colleagues randomized controlled trail.
