Question
Recently, I was working on several AHP models. I usually have doubts how to decide the size of evaluating scales. Decision-making includes subjective part of each decision-maker to decide what type of scale to use (i.e. how many ranges and how wide, as well as the number of them and their preferences). However, is there any recommended way how to make this process authomatic?
I was thinking to connect this to standard deviations in the dataset. However, data usually do not have normal distribution and this does not allow discrimination in the evaluation.

Question
It is well-observed that there are many factors that influence (bias) the results of internal evaluations at higher education institutions. Such as that male young professors in general obtain higher evaluation than their female counterparts. Therefore, should the evaluation systems consider this aspect and should we adjust them? For example, my results indicate that female professors are evaluated lower by -.159 pts (on a scale of 0-10), should the system consider this in the final reports? Should we somehow adjust the evaluation to have "more" comparable results? Similarly, if the results indicate higher evaluations for courses from last semesters (+.234 pts every 3 semesters), should this be considered? I see this adjustments a bit unethical as each professor should prepare and teach their courses in a way that will be reflected in the evaluation. Female and male professors should have the same starting line and not giving them an "artificial" support.
Question
To count consistency in AHP, it is necessary to know the random index (RI) regarding the number of criteria (alternatives). However, I have always found only RI up to n=10. Theoretically, n=10 is enough as the difficulty of keeping consistency in the pairwise comparisons for larger sample. However, I would like to know how to count RI for n>10. Can anyone recommend an article where it is possible to find this? Thank you!
