Minoritetspedagogik i Norden utgörs av ett nätverk bestående av Åbo Akademi (lärarutbildningen i Vasa), UC Syd (Center for Mindretalspædagogik), samt Umeå Universitet (institutionen för språkstudier). Alla partner har länge intresserat sig för minoritetsfrågor ur olika perspektiv. Fokus ligger på hur lärarutbildningar utformas för att ta hänsyn till olika minoriteters behov av och rätt till undervisning på eget språk (t.ex. tyskan i Danmark, danskan i Slesvig/Tyskland, samiskan, finskan och meänkieli i Sverige, de svenska skolorna och samer i Finland). Nätverkets målsättning är att fördjupa kompetensen kring utformningen av såväl undervisning som lärarutbildning inom olika former av minoritetskontexter.
