Question
Dear Researchers.
I am looking for a way on how I could derive an equation that relates pressure and bending angle for the soft pneumatic actuator that I am developing in my project. The actuator that I am modeling is a hemicircular type. And I wanted it to be segmented, like a finger that I could individually control each joint. There is a mutual movement when I pressurize one of the joints of the actuator. Therefore, other joints, which are not yet actuated move when one joint is being actuated. The Illustration is a model of one joint. The whole actuator is a homogeneous soft actuator run in FEA. The pressure applied in the each chamber in a joint is radiates in all directions on the walls of the chamber. The base is assumed in-extensible, therefore, does't elongate. The interaction between the outside walls of the chambers produces bending when inflated.
Thank you for your help.
Question
Good day to all researchers.
I am looking for a solution on how I could all at once run threads in arduino. Suppose I wanted to control one input and output using (proportional, integral, derivative) PID program, and another PID for another input and output to be controlled, is there any way I run them both without affecting the execution time (the current time and elapsed time) for each feedback.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Question
Hi. I am new in using ABAQUS. I noticed that the step increment is based on time and it is not a uniform increment. I am simulating a hyperelastic material designed with chambers that are actuated by uniform pressure on the walls. I wanted to see the results for each pressure increment, not on time increments. Say for example, I want to view the results for 4 kPa pressure increments from 0-252kPa. I hope someone could help me on this. Thank you.
Question
Hi! I am new in using Abaqus. I am doing a project on hyperelastic materials (rubbers). I wanted to see the result for each uniform pressure increment (STEP) instead of steps based on time increments, in the results after successfully completing running the job. What I currently am doing is just set the load pressure (ramp) and run the job, then get the results, and then edit the load pressure again and run the job and get the results. It is very tedious to simulate a pressure from 0-250 kPa with 1 kPa increment, like I have to do it 250 times. I want to automatically run a job (with load pressure of 250 kPa) and in the results I would be able to click every step with 1kPa increment.
Thanks a lot for your kindness.
