Marie-Therese Mäder is a scholar of media, religion, and philosophy with particular expertise in the field of media and religion and media ethics where she has published several articles and books. Her current research projects focus on rites de passage, specifically weddings, across cultures and religions, fake news and digital media ethics, and medial representation of migration.
