Introduction
Mariana Silva Campelo is currently a PhD student in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation from Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC) and a member of the Applied Ecology & Conservation Lab (UESC).
Her research interests include habitat use and acoustic communication of mysticetus, in particular, the humpback whale, considering she has developed studies involving this species with the Whales from the Hill Project since 2014.
