Introduction
María Verónica Jimeno Jiménez es profesora del departamento de psicología de la UCLM, forma parte del equipo de investigación de psicología cognitiva aplicada. Desde 2016 es miembro del Centro de investigación en Criminología de la UCLM. Es profesora del Grado de Criminología y del máster de investigación en criminología y delincuencia juvenil. Su principal linea de investigación es la victimología de la infancia y de la adolescencia, la teoría del apego y la victimización.

Con esta investigación se pretende describir y analizar la victimización de estos adolescentes y jóvenes, así como las consecuencias sobre su desarrollo, de modo que se puedan recomendar mecanismos educativos y terapéuticos que orienten a los profesionales hacia una intervención en la que esté presente la historia de victimización y que contribuyan a paliar sus efectos en su posterior reinserción social. La finalidad última de este estudio es sensibilizar a la sociedad respecto a las experiencias de violencia que padecen los niños y jóvenes tutelados por la JCCM y atendidos por el sistema de justicia juvenil.
