Introduction
Prof. Meireles was Coordinator of Food Science of CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) and a professor of Food Engineering at UNICAMP (University of Campinas), where she began working in 1983. In 2016, she retired from UNICAMP, where she held the position of professor for the post-graduate program in Food Engineering.
