Project
The project is to create an English-language training course “Nature and society in Prehistoric Europe” through the creation of multimedia products such as video lectures, visual materials and online publications, which will widely present data and research results from Europe and Ukraine in particular. The main purpose of the course is to combine science and education through the interaction of student audiences with the professional environment by transmitting scientifically significant and relevant information about the interaction of society and nature from researchers to students and young scientists. In connection with the transfer of the learning process and the work of higher education institutions online, the project plans to develop multimedia materials that would provide professional delivery of knowledge and interaction between teacher and student.
Project
The Mezhyich international archaeology summer school is dedicated to young scientists, especially PhD students and post-graduate early career researchers, from Ukraine and France. The summer school will also provide complementary training activities to Master students of the Department of Archаeology and Museology of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and from the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Master “Quaternary and Prehistory”.

Upper Paleolithic site of Mezhyrich is a unique national value archaeological monument (230017-N). The site is located in Mezhyrich village, Kaniv district, Cherkassy region. The purpose of the project - preservation of the dwelling construction remains of Upper Paleolithic inhabitants that will become the first step for museumification of Mezhyrich site. In the heritage protection field – preservation of the mammoth bone dwelling will allow to actualize archaeological heritage in modern Ukraine in a greater extent, and to visualize features of primitive hunters’ life.
