Question
For our study on at-risk adolescents were are using (among other instruments) the Family Affluence Scale to measure socio economic status. One of the items concerns the amount of computer a family possesses. Does this also include the possession of tablets and/or smartphones? I think this may have replaced the possession of computers to some extent in the last couple of years, so in that sense the possession or lack of a computer is less indicative of SES I would say.
