Projects
Project (1)
Describing political, economic and cultural relations between communist Poland and North Korea during the Cold War period. Bilateral relations will be put in a broader international perspective and will include Poland's strong ties with Moscow, North Korea's policy of balancing between Moscow and Beijing, etc. The study will be based primarily on Polish archival sources, mainly from the Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (diplomatic records), the Archive of the Institute of National Remembrance (intelligence records) and the Central Archives of Modern Records.
