Accurate distance estimation is crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of intelligent and future autonomous mobility. In this paper, we propose a method for real-time estimation of visible lane distance based on image data only from a single camera and an existing road lane marking estimation system. By leveraging camera intrinsics and heig...

The overtaking maneuver is an important maneuver for autonomous vehicles. It consists of overtaking another vehicle that is moving at a slower speed in the same lane. The article proposes an ahead maneuver on a straight road using software designed for PreScan simulations, while the obstacle is also a moving vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with te...

With the deployment of 5G networks across European countries, researchers and industry can consider research and development of new Cellular-V2X (C-V2X) applications for the environment of Connected and Cooperative Automated Mobility (CCAM) with vision of rapid development into the daily life of vehicle drivers. In order to have these services safe...

The paper describes real world experiments conducted on Slovakia Ring. The main objective of these experiments is to analyze the influence of the relative speed between the ego and the target vehicle on the data provided by the sensors and the perception algorithms executed on these data. During the experiments, data obtained by camera, GNSS/IMU lo...

In this paper, we describe the dataset captured with our proprietary data capture solution mounted on top of a Land Rover Defender vehicle. The captured data are the real data of drives on various Slovak roads. The total dataset consist of almost 33 hours of driving with a automotive grade FPD Link camera with 30 fps and with additional sensors suc...

In the recent years, we observe huge effort to develop new technologies for modern road vehicles in order to improve the level of safety for all passengers in the vehicle. Many of these systems are sooner or later becoming mandatory for the vehicles to be allowed to drive on the European roads. These are for example Lane Keeping Assistants (LKA) or...

WiFi networks have become the most used technology when connecting various personal devices to the Internet at home, in the office, or even in public places. Such popularity and widespread use make WiFi networks an attractive target for attackers. Despite the encryption of network frames and other security features implemented as part of the IEEE 8...

The whole Internet consists of thousands of autonomous systems that transfer data with one another. The BGP plays a significant role in routing, but its behaviour is essentially naive, trusting neighbours without authenticating advertised IP prefixes. This is the main reason why BGP endures various path manipulation attacks. Recently, conventional...

Communication on the Internet consisting of a massive number of Autonomous Systems (AS) depends on routing based on Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Routers generally trust the veracity of information in BGP updates from their neighbors, as with many other routing protocols. However, this trust leaves the whole system vulnerable to multiple attacks,...

Abstract—This paper provides overview of current issues in Internet of Things (IoT). One of the main purposes of IoT is that devices around us should be able to exchange information. The standards which are used in traditional networks, are not suitable to be used in IoT environment. Here are many devices, which are low-cost devices. Therefore, it...
