Introduction
My research group focus on:
1) In deciphering the role of maternal thyroid hormones in teleosts embryogenesis, namely in zebrafish where maternal thyroid hormones function parallels their role during human neurodevelopment;
2) Understand how thyroid hormones during flatfish metamorphosis can asymmetrically metamorphose the bilateral larvae and give rise to a juvenile with a new left-right axis;
3) Role of TH in ageing.
