In this project we will study empty space-time to supplement the science of space-time as it developed in Physics by giving it a foundation in the currently developing science of consciousness. The specification "empty" emphasizes the shift in focus from a purely objective approach to an approach which includes the observer as well. Since A. Einstein empty space-time is considered to be the "arena of events". Events are specified by one coordinate of time and three coordinates of space. unified to 4 dimensional space-time via light as medium of information transport. Every classical observer measures the same maximum speed of information transport , the speed of light, and describes the same laws of nature within space-time. Since by definition a classical observer cannot move with the speed of light he is an uninvolved witness to all space-time events. But because a classical observer by virtue of the laws of nature measures different times, distances, masses he has the freedom of choice in selecting a coordinate system. Ultimately every observer may choose his own clock and measuring rod. If the freedom of choice of the observer is consistently included, empty space-time receives a dynamical geometry and the observer turns in to a participator (a term coined by A. Wheeler). At this point a further distinction can be made between manifest space-time geometry which relates to all what has been discovered so far under the heading of geometro-dynamics and unmanifest space-time geometry which relates to the structure of the observer itself. It is hypothesized that unmanifest space-time geometry may be equated with the nature of the experiencer or ego which in turn may be related to certain neuro-physiological and biochemical functions. Empty space-time even so not directly observable may be accessible by researching into the psycho-physiology of the observer itself.
