Introduction
Mar Gutiérrez-Colón at the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) in Tarragona, Spain, holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics. She has coordinated the URV Official Master's Degree in Foreign Language Teaching (EFL). She has led research projects on the use of new technologies in language acquisition and distance learning (eLearning and mobile learning), and has published key articles in these fields.
