The ability of a photosensitizer (PS) to generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) including type I oxygen free radicals and type II 1O2 is pivotal for photodynamic therapy. Luminescent Ir(III) complexes are effective PSs with high 1O2 generation ability owing to their high intersystem crossing ability and effective energy transfer to 3O2. However, so...
Three Schiff base ligands which were derived from glycine, asparagine and alanine L1, L2 and L3 were designed and used to synthesized their Ag(I) complexes. 1H NMR, FT-IR, UV-Visible and conductance techniques were used to characterize the ligands and their metal complexes. The synthesized compounds showed antioxidant activity against 2,2-diphenyl-...
Adsorption through waste adsorbents is one of the developing technologies used for treating textile wastewater. The present study explores the possible outcome of Eucalyptus camaldulensis biomass as an adsorbent for removing crystal violet dye from aqueous solutions. Eucalyptus camaldulensis biomass was used as such and used in fixed bed column mod...
Density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been carried out to investigate two synthesized iridium(iii) complexes with substituted Phbd (1-phenyl-2-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole) and Crbd (9-(4-(2-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)phenyl)-9H-carbazole) as ancillary ligands. The aim of this paper is to study the effect of the subs...
Acid rain has been considered a major polluting agent harmful to both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. A study was carried out to examine the variations of different elements in Abbottabad soil, Pakistan. The acidification process increases the extraction of different elements from the soil. The extracted concentration of Mg increased in the CL...

A new Schiff base ligand (L) and its transition divalent metal complexes were prepared by the condensation reaction; Reaction was carried out at 70-80 oC by refluxing equimolar ratio of toluidine and aldehyde by continuous stirring for 5-6 hours. Synthesized ligand and Ni(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II) bimetallic complexes were characterize...
In the present study, DFT calculations are carried out on domestically designed 7-methyl-2-phenyl-5’H-spiro[chromene-4,2′-chromeno[3,4-e][1,3]oxazin]-5′-one spiropyran and merocyanine derivatives to recognize alkali and alkaline earth metal ions. Detection of these metal ions can be attained by exploiting the variation of the second-order nonlinear...
A new polyoxometalate (POM)-based inorganic-organic hybrid, [Cu4(HPO4)(PO4)(H2O)2(PBI)4][PW12O40]·H2O-(1), constructed from the Keggin-type polyoxotungstate and chelating ligand 2‑(pyridine‑2‑yl)‑1H‑benzo[d]imidazole (PBI) ligand linked by phosphate-bridged poly-nuclear copper (II) clusters has been obtained. The structure was characterized by X-ra...
Recently, research on lanthanide based polyoxometalates serving as a new type of proton conducting material holds tremendous promise for electrochemical devices. Herein, we have designed and characterized a new type 3D lanthanide silicotungstic acid proton conductor, namely La0.67(H2O)La(H2O)6 [{La(H2O)3(SiW11O39)}]·7H2O (1) under hydrothermal cond...
Three new polyoxometalate-based organic-inorganic hybrid compounds (POIHCs), [Cu(PBI)2(H2O)][{Cu(PBI)(OH)(H2O)}{PW12O40}]·5H2O (1), [Cu(PBI)2(H2O)][{Cu(PBI)2(H2O)}{SiW12O40}]·4H2O (2) and [Cu4(HPO4)(PO4)(H2O)2(PBI)4][PMo12O40]·H2O (3) (PBI = 2-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. All three compo...

In this work, for the first time, we successfully developed aggregation-induced emission (AIE) active iridium(III) complexes as emitting layers for highly efficient non-doped electroluminescent devices. A maximum current efficiency of 25.7 cd A(-1) and 7.6% external quantum efficiency are achieved in the solution-processable single-layer architectu...

1g of Silver silicate diluted into 10ml water. what will be the wt. %age of silver silicate?
Dear Researchers,
I'm looking for collaboration in DFT calculations. If there's anyone who is interested, plz do let me know.
Thanks.
with the same emissions in photophysical properties. somebody explained it with reference. thanks
