Currently working on a DST funded project entitled “Valorization of Cottonseed Meal: Extraction of Quality Protein for improving the Livelihood of Cotton Farmers. Functional characterization of proteins based on functional properties, rheological properties and amino acid profile. Evaluation proteins using FTIR, SEM, X-ray crystallography, TGA, DSC and HPLC. Other areas include extraction and characterization of phenolics from plant matrices.
